The owner's word

• After having sailed three years on my Fantasia (Jeanneau), I bought “Barr Héol II” (Welcomed in Breton) at the Paris Boat Show in December 2010. My new Jeanneau, 9m long and lifting keel is the ideal length in order not to pay too much in the marinas and to be part of the larger sailing boats that allow you to sail across the Bay of Biscay safely with winds of 30 knots.
  For fourteen seasons, she also offered us the possibility of spending very comfortable holidays with family or friends as close as possible to the coast.
  Her draft is a luxury or a privilege – which allows for daily discoveries in Brittany’s many creeks or rivers.
  Barre Héol II brought us three times in one go to the coasts of the Basque Country, from Cantabria and Asturias in North Spain. With her we went to Bordeaux and were the very first sailing boat to dock on the Cité du Vin pontoon.
  I made numerous cruises in Vendée and in South Brittany. Ideal to come as close as possible to the shore. She is also used to beaching.
  The interior with all the storage is most comfortable, the kitchen practical and the headroom huge ! Considering my old age, and after having dozens of crew members on board, it is now my turn to enjoy other skippers’ boats. The person who will be the second owner of Barr Héoll II will be surprised by the potential of such a boat for a reasonable budget.
