The owner's word

• I chose this XC-42 for its seaworthiness, reliability and comfort, whether sailing inshore or offshore. I bought it new in July 2009 and have owned it ever since. The boat has always been maintained with the utmost care and has given me complete satisfaction over the years. I have mainly sailed in Brittany, on both cruises and shorter trips, in often varied conditions which have allowed me to appreciate its safety and seakeeping ability. It is a safe boat, a pleasure to helm, and one that attracts many complimentary comments both at anchor and whilst underway. We used the boat from May to September; it has always been stored ashore for at least seven months a year.
